Biography:

Bharti Kandiyal is a researcher pursuing her PhD in gut-liver axis and the therapeutic potential of the human microbiome. Their work integrates multi-omic data analysis with synthetic biology to develop precision interventions for MASLD.  Bharti’s research focuses on identifying novel, disease-discriminatory bacterial species and engineering probiotic delivery systems, such as E. coli Nissle, for targeted peptide secretion within the GI milieu. By bridging ecological restoration with innovative bio-factories, they aim to create multi-layered strategies for metabolic health. They have presented their findings at leading international forums, contributing to the advancement of microbial therapeutics.
