Dr. Cristina Ticot is a gastroenterologist based in Chișinău, Moldova. She completed her medical degree (2013–2019) and subsequent gastroenterology residency (2019–2023) at the "Nicolae Testemițanu" State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Her clinical and academic interests center on gastrointestinal pathology, digestive health, and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Dr. Ticot has also contributed to medical literature through clinical research, including studies on potential environmental and infectious triggers, such as COVID-19, in the onset and aggravation of ulcerative colitis. She remains dedicated to advancing patient care and medical knowledge in gastroenterology.
