Biography:
Dr Pubali Dhar is serving as a Professor at the Laboratory of Food Science & Technology, Food & Nutrition division, and associate faculty of Centre for research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, University of Calcutta. Her research team is primarily engaged in exploring different aspects of functional food and nano lipid technology. Having an h-index of 26, i10 index 50, more than 60 SCI journal publications, one patent with 2409 citations and post-graduate teaching experience over 20 years, she has demonstrated her research and teaching acumen quite conspicuously and consistently. She has supervised 15 Ph.D. thesis. She is presently the Vice President of Oil Technology Association of India, Eastern Zone and Convener of Nutrition Society of India Kolkata Chapter.
