Biography:
Dr Shahd Elhakim, MBChB, is a Foundation year 1 doctor currently working across both Gloucester Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital, where she is currently undertaking a rotation in Cardiology. A graduate of the University of Buckingham Medical School 2025, Dr Elhakim has demonstrated a strong commitment to clinical excellence and quality improvement early in her medical career. She contributed to a multi-cycle clinical audit at Milton Keynes University Hospitals, evaluating the management of Acute Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding, against the BSG AUGIB Care Bundle. Alongside her clinical interests in acute medicine, she is particularly passionate about mental health and is keen to participate in further quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare outcomes across the Severn region.
