Title : The impact of non-steroidal anti-Inflammatory drugs on patients with gastritis during the treatment period

Abstract:

Introduction:
Gastritis is an inflammatory or dystrophic change that occurs in the mucous membrane of the stomach. The disease leads to a breakdown of the functions of these organs, as well as the development of atrophy of the epithelial cells, resulting in the formation of replacing tissues in their place.

Research Objective:
To analyze the effect of Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) on patients with gastritis during the treatment period.

Materials and Methods:
The examinations were conducted at the Gastroenterology Department of "Jizzax Med Service." Data were analyzed from 15 patients treated between March and July 2023. The patients were divided into two groups: Group 1 (age 25-35) and Group 2 (age 35-50).

Keywords: Gastritis, Severe pain, Pain reduction, NSAIDs

Results:
According to the complaints of Group 1 patients, they experienced a decrease in stomach pain by taking NSAIDs for the purpose of reducing pain, and after the pain decreased, a sharp increase in pain was observed. In Group 2 patients, signs of chest tightness were observed after a short period of time. This is because each NSAID has a strong effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach and stimulates its activity. Ulcer formation in the stomach was also observed. As a result of the examination of people who went without treatment of chronic stomach ulcer with only painkillers, I witnessed that the ulcer turned into cancer in 3 out of 15 patients.

Conclusion:
Patients with gastric ulcer disease experience an increase in pain after taking NSAIDs, not only NSAIDs but also other groups of drugs should be used. For example, for reducing gastric acid, drugs like No-shp, Spazmalgon, and Omeprazole are recommended according to the purpose of the treatment.
