Monique Barakat

Biography:

Monique Barakat is an interventional endoscopist with an active endoscopic research program who performs complex endoscopic procedures including ERCP and EUS for adult and pediatric patients. She serves as Associate Director of Pediatric Endoscopy at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. On a national level, she has recently served as Chair of the ASGE ERCP group and Sub-Committee Chair of the NASPGHAN (North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition) Business & Innovation Endoscopy Committee and Associate Editor of GIE (Gastrointestinal Endoscopy).
