Abstract:

Prokinetic agents have been extensively studied for improving the quality of bowel preparations. However, few studies had investigated the effect of prokinetic agents on post-colonoscopy abdominal discomfort. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of Itopride and Domperidone in alleviating abdominal discomfort in patients who undergo colonoscopy during the period of the procedure preparation and after colonoscopy.
