The Gall Bladder Is An Organ That Is Located In The Lower Right Part Of The Abdomen. It Is A Small, Pear-Shaped Organ That Is Connected To The Liver Via The Cystic Duct. The Primary Role Of The Gall Bladder Is To Store And Concentrate Bile, Which Is A Digestive Fluid Produced By The Liver. This Bile Is Used To Break Down Fats In The Small Intestine During The Digestion Process. The Gall Bladder Is Composed Of A Mucous Membrane And A Muscular Wall, And It Is Filled With Bile And Other Secretions. The Bile Is Produced In The Liver And Then Passes Through A System Of Bile Ducts Before Reaching The Gall Bladder. Here, The Bile Is Concentrated And Stored Until It Is Released Into The Small Intestine. The Gall Bladder Is Also Responsible For The Release Of Hormones And Enzymes, Which Help In The Digestion Of Fat. These Hormones And Enzymes Are Released When The Gall Bladder Contracts And Empties Its Contents Into The Small Intestine. In Some Cases, The Gall Bladder May Become Diseased Or Inflamed, Leading To A Condition Known As Cholecystitis. This Condition Can Be Caused By Gallstones, An Infection, Or An Obstruction Of The Bile Ducts.
